With threats to our licences only set to increase, it is sensible to do all we can to even the balance. Whether you are on 0 points or you are on 9 points, it is important to all of us that we do not add any more to our licences.

In the event that you receive a fixed penalty notice through the post for a speed camera offence, as a member, all you need to do is contact The Drivers’ Club and we will arrange for one of our national network of solicitors to contact you. The Drivers’ Club covers the cost. What is more our solicitors can boast a success rate in excess of 95% for these cases!

If you are then unlucky enough to lose your licence, even as a standard member you can claim a payout of £100 per month up to six months to cover the cost of public transport and taxis. You can upgrade this cover by becoming either a Gold, Platinum or Black Card Member. You will receive up to £500, £1000 and £1500 per month for the period of your ban*. Added to these benefits as a member you will also be entitled to discounts on products from the shop. Visit The Drivers' Club Shop to see just how much you can save by joining. Not only do we continually source new products that we think will interest you, and offer them well below standard retail prices to our members. Non members are also welcome to use the shop but we are sorry that we cannot offer the discounts until your membership has been accepted.

(
*Please note that the cover is for minor speeding offences carrying a penalty of three points, we do not condone excessive speeding. Convictions for dangerous driving and speeding offences which carry more than three points against your licence are not covered. The maximum period of cover for the upgraded policies is 12 months.)

(* Up to a maximum of 6 months)
